The Manta is a digital microwave detector intended for the residential and commercial market segment, even though it has the same characteristics that you would normally only find in the higher-risk segments such as nuclear plants, prisons etc. The Manta has a very stylish design. Due to its special antenna, its detection field is a little narrower. It comes in the following models: 50 metre range and 80 metre range.
How it works: | Volume change is picked up in the generated electromagnetic field between transmitter and receiver. There has to be an even, unoccupied space of 2 to 4 metres between transmitter and receiver. |
Range: | Twenty to 80 metres. |
Alarm zone: | Per set (transmitter and receiver). |
Weather influence: | Practically none. |
Small animals: | Small animals do not set off the alarm. |
Advantages: | Small in size, big in performance and very cost-effective. Works preventively and has a very high detection probability. Very reliable due to the digital fuzzy logic technology. |
Drawbacks: | There has to be an unoccupied space of 2 to 4 metres between transmitter and receiver. |
Application: | Projects with a medium to high risk profile. |
