DPS

Combination of active and passive ground detection.

DPS combines the GPSplus and RPS systems. This maximizes the detection rate while minimizing the false alarms. This system operates by measuring the pressure differences in the ground that occur when intruders approach and cross the terrain. This is combined with the changes in the generated electromagnetic field, caused by movements of intruders or vehicles. This means the system has multiple ways in which it detects intruders. The detection signals are processed by the special microprocessor. The system is even able to save specific intruder patterns to its memory for verification. The DPS system can be installed in any type of surface, except concrete.

DPS (Dual Perimeter System)

How it works: Volume change in the generated electromagnetic field and pressure changes in the surface area caused by walking, running, jumping, driving etc.
Location: In all surface areas and underneath sand, grass, pebbles, paving, asphalt etc.
Maximum length: The multiplex edition 12.8 kilometres and the basic edition is 200 metres. The detection strip is about 1.5 to 3.0 metres wide.
Minimum length: Twenty metres.
Alarm zone: A maximum of 2 zones (in stand-alone).
Weather influence: None.
Small animals: Small animals do not set off the alarm.
Advantages: Invisible, and combines the advantages of the active RPS and the passive GPS detection systems. DPS has the highest detection rate and the lowest FAR (False Alarm Rate).
Drawbacks: Practically none. Be careful with water puddles and underground metal pipes.
Application: Projects with a very high risk profile and a need for maximum reliability due to poor verification methods.
